Back in Peace River North

All my life I have wanted to become a writer; write a book, keep a journal, create songs and poems … throughout the years, I always tried to instil in my students my love of language by attacking each project with creative zeal, infusing my enthusiasm for the written word into every lesson. However, I rarely get around to writing down my own thoughts and stories in any sustainable manner. Then, a number of years ago, I discovered blogging. What a truly wonderful vehicle this is for me, the wannabe writer. Since then I have created blogs to target various aspects of my professional and personal life. Success by 60 was launched in 2012 as an attempt to bring them all together under the lens of sentiments surrounding success... in my career, in my classroom, in my life. Since then, life took a number of twists and turns, and I find myself back in School District 60 as Principal of the elementary school where I started my teaching journey (in my very first teaching practicum) and back to restoring this blog. (I lost the domain name along the way, and all the posts...)
